The Brit Oval
The Brit Oval in South London is home to Surrey County Cricket Club and seats a capacity crowd of 23,000. The Oval is over 150 years old and has witnessed some famous victories, including England’s Ashes win of 2005.

The Brit Oval is easily accessible by public transport; with Oval tube station (on the Northern Line) just 100 metres from the ground and Vauxhall rail station a ten minute walk away. We recommend taking public transport on match days as there is no car parking available near The Oval. Get detailed directions to the ground here.
The Brit Oval also plays an important role in the local community with an indoor cricket centre coaching up-and-coming cricketers; a retail outlet and numerous educational initiatives including the ECHO project and Playing for Success.
Surrey CCC is planning to develop the Brit Oval further with a new stand and hotel proposed for the Pavilion End. This redevelopment work will take The Brit Oval to the next level as a sporting venue: ensuring that International cricket remains a fixture at The Oval and other sports like Aussie Rules and baseball continue to come to London.
Accessibility at the Brit Oval is extremely important to Surrey County Cricket Club, thus we try to ensure that visually, hearing and mobility impaired people enjoy their day out at the cricket equally. For more information, please visit our Brit Oval accessibility section.
