The Brit Oval offers much more than just cricket; it is also home to extensive facilities that can be used by members of the local community.

Ben Hollioake Learning Centre

The Ben Hollioake Learning Centre is a fully equipped classroom accommodating up to 15 people. With state of the art learning tools including an interactive whiteboard and Wi-Fi laptops the Ben Hollioake Centre is a great place to learn.

Lambeth Hall

Next to the Ben Hollioake Centre is Lambeth Hall, a safe and welcoming environment for sports. The hall is perfect for young people who want to play softball cricket, five-a-side football or short tennis; and for adults who want to do anything from football to Tai Chi.

The Ben Hollioake Learning Centre and Lambeth Hall are used Monday to Thursday but are available every Saturday and some Fridays. If you run a project that might benefit from our facilities, please contact us on community@surreycricket.com for more info.

Prince’s Trust Community Room

We’ve just finished refurbishing our community room. During term time, between 9-5pm, it is used by the Prince’s Trust Group, but from 5pm-9:30pm every evening and some weekends it is free for community use. With an internet connection, a self-contained kitchen and a projector, this room is perfect for local community groups (the room seats 10-15 adults).

Ken Barrington Cricket Centre

The Ken Barrington Cricket Centre is a spacious, well equipped sports hall, able to host five-a-side football, cricket, badminton and many other sports (all though it’s mainly cricket-focused). Evenings and weekends are generally fully booked, with multiple school programmes running, but there are times during work hours and early on Saturdays when the hall is free for community activity.

Inflatable Net

Surrey CCC’s inflatable net is a large, transportable cricket net offering a fun and safe way for young people to play cricket. The inflatable net is run by an ECB qualified coach and is great for a summer fete or school sports day. There may be a small charge for this facility depending on the distance between The Oval and your event.

Please note that the use of Brit Oval facilities is subject to the Community Manager’s approval and fees may be applicable.
