Biography
Mark Ramprakash is a batting phenomenon. In 2006, Ramps scored 2,211 championship runs and eight centuries. In 2007 season he repeated the feat by scoring 2,026 runs and a staggering ten hundreds. If Ramprakash scores just three more hundreds this season, he will achieve a century of centuries! Ramps is a talent on the field and the dance floor, being crowned winner of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2006. Speculation was rife that Ramprakash might be selected for England’s Sri Lanka tour (five years after cap number 52) but to the surprise of many he was left out.
