Biography
Injury has restricted James Ormond to just ten championship appearances in the last two seasons; but aged 30 there is no reason why he cannot re-establish himself as a force in the Surrey attack. Ormond joined Surrey CCC from Leicestershire in 2002; shortly after winning his two Test Caps against Australia and India. Ormond’s hard-to-hit seam deliveries proved pivotal in Surrey’s victorious 2003 Twenty20 Campaign. In the Twenty20 final against Warwickshire, Ormond returned figures of 4-0-11-4.
