Surrey’s Twenty20 decider is SOLD OUT at the Brit Oval

Published 6 July 2007

Brit Oval Crowd

Surrey’s must win Twenty20 match against the Kent Spitfires at the Brit Oval this evening is a complete SELL OUT.

The Brown Caps are chasing qualification into the quarter finals of the Twenty20 Cup and will be shouted on by a packed Brit Oval this evening when they take on the Spitfires.

Surrey have never lost to Kent in the Twenty20 Cup and they will be looking to keep their record intact this evening. The two sides came together in a classic contest last Monday at Beckenham, where a magnificent partnership between Azhar Mahmood and Rikki Clarke took the Brown Caps past the finish line.

There are a number of eventualities from tonight’s match however the ultimate result for Surrey must be a victory to guarantee qualification into the quarter finals. If the Brown Caps win and Sussex lose, then Surrey will top the group and receive a home quarter final.
