Adam Hollioake is one of the greatest ever Surrey captains. Under his captaincy between 1997 and 2003, Surrey CCC won nine trophies making them the most successful county side of recent times. Ben Hollioake, Adam’s younger brother, was a talented cricketer who came through the Surrey youth cricket system who charmed people with his cricket and personality. Sadly, however, Ben died in a car accident in March 2002.
Therefore, the Hollioake Club is named in honour of Adam and in memory of Ben and will be a chance for the next generation of Surrey supporters to have fun watching and being involved with Surrey Cricket.
