District Cricket

We run boys summer district squads from Under 10's to Under 14's in each of Surrey’s five districts: East, West, Central, Inner London and Outer London. Winter training takes place on a district basis from January to March. Surrey Cricket has split the county into five cricketing districts, based around local authority
boundaries:
1. Inner London Southwark, Lambeth and Wandsworth
2. Outer London Croydon, Merton, Kingston and Sutton
3. West Surrey Heath, Woking, Guildford and Waverley
4. Central Elmbridge, Runnymead, Spelthorne and Mole Valley
5. East Reigate & Banstead, Tandridge, and Epsom & Ewell
Penny Davies Trophy
The purpose of the PDT is two-fold: (a) to generally raise the standard of cricket played throughout Surrey by giving an opportunity for players to obtain experience of higher quality matches, forming a stepping-stone between club/school cricket and cricket age group (CAG) cricket, and (b) to act as trials for Surrey’s CAG sides. The 2007 PDT winners will be presented with their trophy at the Brit Oval during lunch at the Surrey v Derbyshire match on Sunday 19th August 2007.
