Coaching in Schools
Surrey Cricket have Community Coaches who are available to coach in your school for more information contact your Cricket Development Manager:

Chance to Shine scheme see Cricket Clubs and Schools working together to bring Cricket to the Local Children.
ECB. The programmes to be funded by Chance to shine are an integral part of ECB’s Strategic Plan to strengthen cricket within local communities and to increase participation among young people.
Playing For Success(PfS) is an after-school scheme run in partnership with the DCSF (Department for Children, School and Family) and Lambeth Council. It is based in the Ben Hollioake Learning Centre – a dedicated community classroom – and delivers an innovative ten-week curriculum of ICT, literacy and numeracy.
The ECHO Project (ECHO stands for Equality, Coaching, Healthy Options). The project is run in conjunction with Fulham Football Club, and will deliver coaching (cricket and football) to primary and secondary schools in Lambeth.
NatWest The competition is backed by NatWest, this major ECB grassroots initiative is ideal for use in secondary schools and clubs. Inter Cricket was designed for boys and girls who, for reasons of facility or ability, can't play hard ball cricket. It bridges the gap between Kwik Cricket and the traditional hardball game, increasing levels of participation in the game, particularly amongst 12-14 year old children.
