Biography
Stewart Walters set the tone for his cricket when he smashed England bowler Steve Harmison around the Brit Oval last summer. Walters’ spirited innings of 70 against Durham was just what Surrey needed, having not won a Championship game at the season’s mid-point. Stewart Walter’s sheer volume of runs in Surrey’s second team helped him achieve first team status. Walters came to England from Perth in 2005. He scored impressively for Midland-Guildford Cricket Club (Alec Stewart’s old stomping ground).
