The Surrey Brown Caps will look for revenge over the Middlesex Crusaders in the return London Derby fixture in the Friends Provident Trophy on Sunday.

Surrey lost out to the Crusaders in a run fest at the Brit Insurance Oval in the opening Friends Provident Trophy match of the 2008 season. Sunday’s match will be an opportunity for Surrey to get their One Day Trophy campaign on track and they will travel to Lord’s straight from Hove in order to do so.

The Brown Caps will be back at HQ on Monday in another Friends Provident clash but this time against the Kent Spitfires. The honours have been fairly even between these two sides in the One Day arena over the last couple of years, with Scott Newman’s unbeaten innings dashing the Spitfire’s hopes in the NatWest Pro40 at Canterbury last season.

Alan Butcher has selected a very similar team to the squad that is currently playing down in Hove. Jade Dernbach is included to make up the 13 with Saqlain Mushtaq the man to be rested.

In injury news, Stewart Walters will miss the next few weeks with his fractured cheek bone. Although having seen a specialist last week it has been decided that he will not undergo surgery.

Richard Clinton has also missed the action in the second team this week with a hip flexor problem.

The match will get underway at 12pm with tickets costing £12 for adults and £6 for under 16s.
