Biography
Simon King is one of Surrey CCC’s finger spinners, recently signed for a new two-year contract. With a classic action, King gives the ball a genuine rip that ensures even the most stubborn surfaces provide movement. King can be expensive but Surrey has faith in a bowler singled out by Indian Test cricketer Hanumant Singh as one of the most promising spinners he’s ever seen. King’s 6 for 70 in ten overs against New South Wales U19 in 2006 confirmed his ability to keep spinning the ball under fire.
