Biography
Bowler Neil Saker made seven LV Championship appearances for Surrey in 2007. Saker’s most impressive spell was at Old Trafford, where his career-best 5 for 76 destroyed Lancashire’s middle order. This was swiftly followed by a four wicket haul against Warwickshire at the Brit Oval. Elsewhere wickets were harder to come by, but his decent paced bowling always has the capacity to trouble batsmen. Neil Saker is a handy lower-order batsman, whose forte so far has been first-class rather than one day cricket. Saker will be determined to stake his claim in the new bowling line-up.
