Watch the Surrey stars train up close at Guildford

The Surrey players will be down at the Surrey Cricket Centre in Guildford on Thursday working hard as they prepare themselves for the start of the season.
The full squad will be down at the Surrey Cricket Centre in Guildford taking part in a training session as a showcase for the Club’s annual Trade Show event. Members of the public are welcome to come down from 6pm to watch the professional squad work hard towards the opening match of the season in just one month’s time.
As well as watching the squad train, you will also be able to have a look at the latest top of the range cricket equipment used by the professional squad, with Gunn and Moore, Gray Nicholls, Slazenger and Kookaburra all present on the night.
The Surrey shop are offering all equipment bought on the night VAT free and any orders over £149 will come with a free coaching session.
Mark Ramprakash, Mark Butcher and Jonathan Batty will all be on hand to answer your questions about the equipment they use and there will be photo and autograph opportunities with your favourite Brown Cap stars.
The senior Gray Nicholls bat-maker will be on hand to demonstrate how bats are made. There will also be an opportunity to win a consultation with Ramprakash and the bat-maker to have a top of the range bat made to your own specification. Tickets for this competition will be available on the night.
The latest Surrey One Day kit will also be available, and there will be no better way of supporting the Brown Caps in 2008 than by wearing the Club’s Gold shirt at all of their Friends Provident Trophy and NatWest Pro40 Matches.
You are welcome to come to the Surrey Cricket Centre in Guildford to watch you favourite stars train before getting the opportunity to speak to them and ask for their autographs.
