Community Day

Last Friday over 100 children from schools across Tower Hamlets and Hackney attended a cricket fun coaching day donated by Brit, a member company of Lloyd's Community Programme (LCP).

During the course of the day, pupils were lucky enough to meet Alec Stewart and received coaching from members of Surrey County Cricket Club. They also had the chance to try out their skills in a competitive game of Kwik Cricket. Grazebrook and Milfields Alec Stewart

Alec Stewart was happy to support the event and said: "Brit Insurance and Surrey County Cricket were delighted to facilitate this event for the Lloyd's Community Programme. It is great to see the excitement of the children playing cricket on these historic grounds."

Nicholas Furlonge, Director at Beazley Furlonge Ltd and member of the LCP management Board said, "The Lloyd's Community Programme believes in the importance of inspiring young people to achieve. We are very grateful to
Brit Insurance for this generous gift."
