For more information on click Schools Cricket to see details on competitions times etc. Recently the London Youth Games U13's took Place with six girls from the U13 Surrey squad struck gold at the 2008 London Youth Games. After two years of settling for silver the girls representing the London Borough of Merton, beat former winning rivals Redbridge and Bromley to win sweet revenge in the nail-biting final series at Lord's. Beth Kerins, Sacha Marshall, Priyanka Kanani, Nadia Iqbal, Edie Kelly and captain Malory Torr, together with sub Eleanor Kerins, were presented with individual medals by former England cricket captain Mike Gatting who admitted to being "hugely impressed" by the team's performance.
